Experience and Background

Mr. Lay is an attorney in Mr. Schwartz’s Alvin office. His practice areas involve:

• employment discrimination;
• medical malpractice;
• personal injury;
• premises liability;
• products liability; and
• toxic torts.

Mr. Lay was born in Kermit, Texas in 1967. In 1990, he was awarded his Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1999.

Mr. Lay is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, for the Northern District of Texas and for the Eastern District of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
